Sound Familiar?

Wards cobble together email lists, group texts, and social media — and things still slip through the cracks.

📱

Fragmented Tools

Announcements split across email, texts, Facebook, and bulletin boards. Members miss half of them.

🔄

Leadership Turnover

New callings mean rebuilding contact lists from scratch. Institutional knowledge walks out the door.

📭

Missed Announcements

Important messages get buried in inboxes. There's no reliable way to know if members actually saw them.

One Platform Built for Wards and Stakes

Ward Herald is designed around the stake → ward → group hierarchy your organization already uses. No more improvising with tools that weren't built for you.

Everything You Need

Push Notifications

Messages land directly on members' phones — no email filtering, no social media algorithms.

Targeted Groups

Send to Elders Quorum, Relief Society, or the entire ward — your choice.

AI-Assisted Drafting

Get a polished first draft from a few bullet points. Edit it, then send — communication made easy.

Recall & Edit

Catch a typo after sending? Recall the message or push a correction — no awkward follow-ups.

Delivery Statistics

See who received and opened your messages. Know your communication is actually landing.

How It Works

1

Stake Joins

A stake representative signs up and provides the stake name and ward names.

2

Add Ward Admins

The stake admin adds ward admins who will manage their own ward's communication.

3

Import Members

Ward admins paste in a list of adult members. Relief Society and Elders Quorum groups are created automatically.

4

Invite Members

Members install the app and log in with their unique invite code — no passwords, no accounts.

5

Send Messages

Reach the entire ward, Relief Society, or Elders Quorum — notifications arrive instantly on every member's phone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an official tool of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

No. Ward Herald is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in any way. It is an independent tool built to help ward and stake leaders communicate more effectively with their members.

How much does it cost?

Ward Herald is free. This was a problem that needed solving, so we built it. If you'd like to contribute a small amount toward hosting costs, we appreciate it — but it's entirely optional and the service will always be free to use.

Is my data protected?

Yes. Everything is hosted on AWS infrastructure. All communication is encrypted in transit with TLS, and all stored data is encrypted at rest. We store as little personal information as possible — just your name, which you can change at any time. No phone numbers, no email addresses, no other personal details. We just want you to get your ward's notifications.

I'm on a member list and want to be removed.

No problem. Send us an email at support@wardherald.com and we'll take care of it right away.
